Once upon a time in the fabled Steroid LostNumbers Laboratory a group of robotic rap artists were created. With numbers for names and a lingering fear of being scrapped floating in their minds these anime inspired characters are the front for a talented group of Japanese DJs and musicians called Midicronica. Their song San Francisco was used as an ending theme for the popular anime series “Samurai Champloo”.

So come learn the story of the rap artists known affectionately as #894, #181, #716 and #563 and discover the answer to the riddle: What does Shanghai, Swine flu and Midicronica have in common?

On July 8, 2009 the members of Midicronica were kind enough to give an interview to J-Pop World. Midicronica Interview.
